9002/QS 9000 Certification for excellence. Our capabilities include
precision insert molding, close tolerance straight molding, pad printing
identification, specialty decoration, value added secondary assemblies,
and a 25 man tool shop for mold construction and repairs.
SMI has a complete in-house design and build tooling shop. We have
expertise in prototype to production quantities.
SMI has injection molding presses from 50 to 300 tons and insert molding
presses from 50 to 200 tons.
Our parent corporation, Ballek Die Mold has a modern 34,000 sq.ft.
facility with 24 certified tool makers on staff. We also have two
mold designers, CAD/CAM engineers and a full time mold polisher to
meet your mold and die cast die requirements.
